Prior to training as a lawyer, Rob worked in engineering. Having discovered an interest in law, he studied and trained locally before joining Burnetts in December 2007.

Rob particularly enjoys consumer problems like disputes with utility or telecoms companies and helping clients who have purchased defective products or fallen victim to scams and general contractual matters.

He also has an interest in property-related matters such as building and tenancy disputes and has successfully represented landlords and tenants in both disrepair claims and evictions.

Rob is married with children and lives in Carlisle.
