Nigel joined Davies & Company at its inception in 1998 and brought with him considerable Commercial Litigation and Insurance Law experience.
Nigel's primary expertise is in complex personal injury and fatal accident cases. However, he has litigated extensively and to Court of Appeal level representing broader Claimant interests - see Vellino -v- GMP 2001 EWCA Civ 1249.
Nigel has considerable experience of insurance disputes where consumers find themselves in conflict with their own insurers - see Hodgson -v- Tanner and others - Lawtel 2007 and Webb -v- Brown - Daily Mail 30.08.07.
Nigel also conducts professional negligence and costs cases - see Foord -v- American Airlines 2007, EWCA90076. A keen advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Principled Negotiation, in 2008 Nigel was awarded a Masters Degree in Advanced Litigation and Dispute Resolution, with commendation, from Nottingham Law School.
