Carol specialises in cases of maximum severity involving very serious injuries and fatal accidents. This has been her main area of legal work for the last 15 years. She is an acknowledged ‘leader in the field of personal injury’ in the legal guides and recognised for her expertise in handling claims involving brain injury. Carol is a member of APIL, and a member of Focis (formerly the Richard Grand Society,) Spinal Injuries Association, Headway and the Law Society Personal Injury Panel. She is also a director and trustee of Head Forward.

- Fatal accident claims including those involving children.
- Accidents resulting in serious brain injury resulting in cognitive deficit, low awareness states including semi and vegative conditions
- Claims arising from traumatic amputation.
- High value claims involving substantial settlements up to £9million.

Background
Carol qualified in 1981 after studying law at University of Wales. Carol started practising at a small high street practice and in 1990 she moved to Gorna & Co in Manchester, where she became a partner specialising in personal injury and higher value claims. In 1994 Carol joined Pannone LLP. She became a partner in 1996 and was Head of the Personal Injury department from 1996 to 2009.
