For the last 18 years Catherine has been the Head of the Family Law department which has grown from a department of 6 to a total of 44 including 24 lawyers. The department is described as the market leaders in the North West in Legal 500 and Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession
She was a founder member of Resolution Manchester region and has for many years served on the local committee and sits on various national sub committees, most recently the Publications Committee. She is a member of Resolution’s Editorial Board and regularly comments on family law issues in the press.
Catherine specialises in all aspects of divorce. In particular complex financial issues especially those involving family businesses or trusts. She has acted for high profile individuals who come from all corners of the UK and the world.
Catherine is recognised as a leader in her field in the Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession. She is described as outstanding, good to work with and known for her down to earth common sense approach.
