Liz is a family law solicitor, an advanced member on the Law Society Family Law Panel and a partner at Pannone LLP.

Liz qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and joined Pannone in 1999. Liz was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 2001. She was appointed as the chairman of the Child Support Appeal Tribunal in 1993 and is a member of Resolution’s Child Support Committee for whom she has spoken in the House of Commons and the House of Lords upon the urgent need for further law reform.

Liz has written a chapter for a Law Society text book on the latest child support legislation. She also lectures on all aspects of divorce and financial settlements on divorce. She comments on family law issues on both national and local television, radio and press.

Liz practices in all aspects of family breakdown, in particular difficult financial settlements arising from divorce which involve family businesses, trusts and taxation issues. She has a specialist Resolution accreditation for dealing with cohabitation issues that frequently involve knowledge of civil procedure for which she has expertise from sitting as a Deputy District Judge. Using her knowledge of civil procedure gained from sitting as a judge, she assists in difficult claims arising from inheritance disputes. She has a specialist knowledge of child support law and is recognised nationally as an expert in her field.
