Andrew read law at Manchester University graduating in 1977. He completed his LPC at Chester College of Law. Andrew trained with Pannones before joining Berry & Berry upon qualification in 1980 and becoming a Partner in 1984.

Andrew has specialised in family law and law relating to children for many years. He is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Children Panel Accreditation Scheme and represents both children and parents in care, adoption, residence and contact applications. He has been involved in several reported cases.

Following the merger between Stephensons and Berrys Andrew has become a Partner in Stephensons.

Andrew is married with 3 children and is a season ticket holder of Manchester United.
