Joanna was born and brought up in Yorkshire. After university in Durham and law college in York she trained at Eversheds in Leeds, but then moved to the Lake District for the quality of life and work! She qualified in 1997, and deals with all aspects of commercial property and commercial work. She handles all landlord and tenant work, business start-ups - whether as a company, sole trader or partnership - acquisitions and disposals, and secured lending, and also acts for a number of charities. Outside of work she used to enjoy mountain biking, climbing and overseas travel. She can now more often be found at the playground with her young daughter and norwich terrier.
